The SoulCollage Deck
A typical SoulCollageTM deck consists of one Source Card and an unlimited number of cards falling into four suits: Committee, Community, Companion, and Council.
The Source Card
The Source Card represents the unifying principle, the fabric that weaves the threads of your soul, represented in your other cards, into One. It can be thought of as "the One from which all that exists is born and the One to which all that exists returns." In essence, the Source is mysterious and without form.
The Committee Suit
This suit represents the psychological dimension. Cards in the Committee Suit honor the inner parts of yourself, the parts of your personality. You might recognize some of these parts as the voices in your head. Some Committee members may seem negative, like The Inner Critic, The Judge, or The Perfectionist. Others, like the Caretaker and the Teacher are more neutral, while some are more positive, like The Joyful Child and The Loyal Friend.
The Community Suit
This suit represents the communal dimension. Cards in the Community Suit contain images of people and beings that are significant in your life including friends, family, mentors, teachers, and pets. They can be living or dead; people you actually know or people you know only through their contribution to the world.
The Companion Suit
This suit represents the energetic dimension. Cards in the Companion Suit represent the seven energy centers, or charkas, of your body. Animal totems or "Companions" for each chakra are identified through guided imagery.
The Council Suit
This suit represents the spiritual dimension. Cards in the Council Suit represent the various universal archetypes that guide you in your life. These invisible guides and challengers are known across cultures by many names. Some examples of universal archetypes are: The Compassionate Mother, The Warrior, The Healer, The Creator, Death, and The Fool.
